Overview
Our team is engaged in an ongoing project to develop a web portal for a laboratory, with the primary goal of automating the storage and manipulation of biomaterials
Challenge
The laboratory faced significant challenges in efficiently managing and automating the handling of biomaterials. This included tasks such as pouring from test tubes and systematically storing these materials. The manual processes were not only time-consuming but also prone to errors, necessitating a technologically advanced solution
Solution
To address these challenges, we embarked on creating a web portal specifically designed to automate these critical laboratory processes. Key aspects of our solution include: Automated Test Tube Handling - the portal facilitates automated pouring from test tubes, reducing manual intervention and improving accuracy; Efficient Storage Management - it streamlines the storage process of biomaterials, ensuring better organization and accessibility; Data Archive Creation - the portal also includes a feature to create and maintain an archive of data related to the biomaterials, enhancing record-keeping and traceability
Project Duration
The project commenced in 2023 and is currently ongoing, reflecting our commitment to continuous improvement and adaptation to the laboratory’s evolving needs
